Nominations for the 78th Emmy Awards announced by the Television Academy include several California Institute of the Arts alumni who earned recognition across a range of categories, including production design, lighting design and picture editing.

The 78th Emmy Awards, hosted by actor, producer and director Mariska Hargitay, will air live Monday, Sept. 14, at 5 p.m. PDT on NBC and stream on Peacock from the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be held Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6.
