SCV CHAMBER ANNOUNCES 2020 CHAIR AND 2021 CHAIR-ELECT

SANTA CLARITA, October 29, 2019 — The SCV Chamber announced today Nancy Starczyk will be serving a second term as Chair of the Board of Directors for 2020 and John Vance, of Vance Wealth Management, will serve as Chair-Elect and become Chair of the Board in 2021

“I am pleased to have been asked to serve a second term and it is a privilege to continue to lead our strong Chamber,” stated Nancy Starczyk, 2019 Chair of the Chamber. “Our Chamber has a solid future and we have built a strong leadership team, including our Chair-Elect John Vance.”

During Starczyk’s successful first term as Chair, the Chamber has focused the organization’s advocacy efforts, increased membership, created a substantial financial reserve account, launched the new Small Business Council and created new value-driven programming for members.

Joining the leadership team for the Chamber, Vance will serve on the Chamber’s 2020 Executive Committee and hold the position of Chair-Elect.  He has been a member of the SCV Chamber for 15 years and was first appointed to the Board in 2019.  He currently serves on the Finance Committee and as Chair of the Annual Golf Tournament.

“Having been newly selected to the Board this year and now to become Chair-Elect for our Chamber that has built a strong reputation is an honor,” stated John Vance, 2020 Chair-Elect for the Chamber. “The full board, executive team, and our management company have put so much effort into building a strong and successful Chamber and I am pleased to lead the charge in 2021.”

Vance has firmly established himself as a thought-leader in the financial services industry and is known for his ability to connect with people and being a source of help and inspiration.  John opened Vance Wealth in 2003 with a client-centric culture dedicated to caring for clients and their families. Since that time, Vance Wealth has experienced tremendous growth and success through John’s unique approach to financial planning.

“With the momentum that Nancy has created for the Chamber, we believe that the continuity of her leadership was important so she could further build on her successes,” said Ivan Volschenk, Managing Partner at Evolve Business Strategies, which manages the SCV Chamber. “We have been strategically building the chamber to best meet the needs of our members and we are only getting started.”

The SCV Chamber will be installing the new Board on Friday, January 24th at their Annual Awards & Installation Dinner. More info will be published at www.scvchamber.com
