Paul Raggio
Paul Raggio is co-owner, with his sister Lisa, of One True North Leadership and Management Solutions, an executive development firm based in Santa Clarita Valley, California. Paul mentors and develops CEOs, C-Suite executives, business owners, and their employees on leadership and management principles in achieving and sustaining their business growth and profitability goals.
Paul recently retired as President of the Security Strategic Business Unit for Chenega, a billion-dollar Alaska Native Corporation. He led and managed the strategic growth, profit and loss, and capture of market share in the federal government security industry for eight limited liability law enforcement and security companies with 2,000 employees operating in forty-one states and two countries.
Before joining Chenega Corporation, Paul served in the U.S. Army for twenty-six years, achieving the rank of Colonel. Paul worked in three distinct professional fields: law enforcement, congressional relations, and resource management. Paul commanded military police units at the company, battalion, and brigade levels. His last command assignment was at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, as the Commander of the 16th Military Police Brigade (Airborne), the only military police paratrooper unit. Paul also served as Fort Bragg’s Director of Public Safety and led all law enforcement, firefighting, safety, and security activities for an installation of 45,000 people. In battalion command, he deployed his military police to Cuba and oversaw refugee operations for 24,000 Cubans and the involuntary repatriation of 5,000 Haitians.
Paul retired from the Army as the Programs Division Chief in the Army’s Legislative Liaison Office, where he supervised fifteen legislative liaisons in Army activities with the U.S. Congress. Additionally, Paul served on the Joint Staff as the Deputy Legislative Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. His portfolio included legislative activities with the Senate, including handling all nominations before the Senate Armed Services Committee for the commanders of the unified and combatant commands. Paul is a veteran of both Operations Just Cause and Desert Shield and Storm Campaigns.
Paul graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science and Commerce Degree in Finance and Syracuse University with a Master of Science in Business Administration. His formal military training includes the U.S. Army War College, the U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College, the U.S. Army Combined Arms Services and Staff School, and the U.S. Army Advanced and Basic Military Police Schools.
