Teresa Todd
With three decades of industry experience, Teresa Todd is an award-winning
communications professional. She founded Point of View
Communications, LLC, and most recently an adjunct professor of Public
Relations graduate studies at the University of Southern California,
Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She previously
taught undergraduate studies at Loyola Marymount University, Los
Angeles, in the School of Communication and Fine Arts.
Todd holds several advanced degrees from the University of Southern
California in strategic-centered fields: M.B.A. Marketing and Finance
from USC’s Marshall School of Business and a Master of Arts in Strategic
Public Relations from USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and
Journalism. Todd served a two-year term as president of the American
Advertising Federation – Los Angeles and a term as Lieutenant Governor
of the American Advertising Federation District 15 (Southern California
and Southern Nevada). She is actively involved in the Valley Industry
Association (VIA) and serves on the Board of Directors for Carousel
Ranch, an equestrian therapy nonprofit for children and young adults
with disabilities and special needs.
The convergence of disciplines – combining the principles of public
relations with the tenets of business and corporate governance – yields
an integrated approach to communication, evaluation and business
development, and is the foundational premise in Todd’s practice.
