The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce uses its many resources to promote the Santa Clarita Valley.  The website, SCVChamber.com, works to promote the Santa Clarita Valley 24/7.  The site is an active tool that is being used by citizens of California, the United States, and many users in many foreign countries.  The site averages about 13,000 unique page visitors each month. The Chamber also uses a weekly eNews publication to promote its members and community groups. The eNews is distributed to approximately 3,800 e-addresses.

The Chamber also publishes a monthly business magazine entitled the Valley Business News.  The publication reaches approximately 5,000 persons each month.  It is designed to be a pro-business, pro-Santa Clarita Valley magazine, and is about business and business opportunities available in the Santa Clarita Valley.

The Chamber actively promotes the community and its members through a variety of annual events.  The Installation Banquet recognizes top business leaders and companies in the Santa Clarita Valley.  The annual Home and Business Expo is the largest event of its kind in the region.  Approximately 125 companies annually display their goods or service to the regional business and consumer marketplace at the Expo.  The event annually draws nearly 5,000 attendees.

The Chamber also has many groups that target the promotion of their respective business entity or nationality.  Two examples of the above are the Chambers Health and Wellness Committee, that sponsors an enormous health fair for the region and the Hispanic Business Committee, which actively engages with the Hispanic Community. The Hispanic Business Committe has raised nearly $60,000 in scholarship funds for Hispanic high school students who are pursuing post secondary educational opportunities.

The Chamber is also an active partner with the City of Santa Clarita’s Economic Development Department, the Small Business Development Center and the LAEDC.  The organization works hand in hand with these three groups to promote the city as an ideal location for a business expansion or relocation.

Of course, the Chamber and its staff serve as the front door to many new residents and businesses who visit the community to determine if the Santa Clarita Valley is to be their new home.  Literally, thousands of persons come to the Chamber each year through its website and telephone and personal visits to gather information about the Santa Clarita Valley.

Finally, the Chamber works with local companies to promote new business openings.  Each month, the Chamber partners with companies who are opening their doors as a new business venture in the SCV.  The Chamber coordinates and promotes nearly 100 new grand opening celebrations each year for members of the Santa Clarita Valley business community.
