First Monthly Membership Luncheon Draws Crowd of over 100 Attendees

The SCV Chamber of Commerce hosted its first monthly luncheon yesterday at the Hyatt Regency Valencia. The luncheon was sold-out, with over 100 of Santa Clarita’s top business, governmental and educational professionals.
Keynote speakers, attorneys David Poole and Brian Koegle of Poole & Shaffery, LLP, presented an update on changes in California employment law and how they impact businesses. The luncheon also included a new networking feature, which allowed everyone in the room the opportunity to make a new business contact.
The monthly luncheon series is a part of the Chamber’s continued commitment to add new programming for the benefit of its members. Each session will feature a different topic aimed at providing member companies with insights that apply directly to their businesses.
