The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that the Home and Business Expo will be returning to Old Town Newhall on October 19th! And while the Chamber is pleased that the Expo will be back on Main Street, vendors and visitors alike should be prepared for an entirely new layout in 2013!
This year, as in years past, vendors will be able to claim one hundred square feet of Main Street itself for their own, becoming an integral part of the traditional Street Fair as they design their own spaces from the ground up, bringing in whatever setups, furniture, displays, and supplies they need.
New this year, however, will be the all-new Premium Pavilion that will flank the Street Fair on the north side! Vendors in the Premium Pavilion will have the added bonus of a pre-prepared booth in which to arrange their displays, as well as proximity to the Expo’s Candyland Carnival, a sure visitor draw!
On the other end of Main Street (near Market Street) will be the Expo’s exclusive Green House, a canopied pavilion just for those vendors whose products and services could be considered green, eco-friendly, organic, or otherwise environmentally minded. In addition to a pre-prepared booth, vendors who set up shop in the Green House will enjoy their location near the Expo’s Shakey Quakey School House, a ride that teaches children and adults alike about earthquake preparedness, as well as an organic farmer’s market.
“The Chambers Community Expo is a long standing Santa Clarita tradition and with the partnership created with Old Town Newhall Association this year and new Street Fair theme we expect a huge turnout!” said Terri Crain Chamber CEO. “We have a great volunteer committee overseeing this projects success”.
